Even today, fashion is still rejecting technology. Consumers feel that the combination of the two is too impractical. After all, Google Glass is a failure case that is in front of the eyes. Designers feel that the clothing with high-tech elements is a bit inconsistent with aesthetics. However, the Coded_Couture exhibition points to a new idea: fashion and technology have a big similarity, they are highly customized. If we do not consider economic factors, we can't wait for all the clothes in the wardrobe to be tailor-made. In fact, the technology is the same. Our expectations for it are nothing more suitable for personal life. “Coded_Couture uses a range of high-tech new elements to make the high-end women's wear an unprecedented privatization,” said co-curator Ginger Duggan, who told the Creators Project.

The designers who participated in this exhibition have many fans who are themselves in the Creators Project, such as Marloes ten Bh?mer, CuteCircuit and so on. Tambomer's work is related to shoes and shows that "our culture's expectation for women is expressed through a kind of mobility." CuteCircuit's programming fabrics can change color in real time. Amy Congdon showed a highly personal jewellery, and she imagined that people's cells and fashion would be combined in the future.

“Handcrafting is the most traditional way of fashion design,” writes co-curator Judith Hoos Fox. “The work on Coded_Couture has changed the rules of the game. It’s through technology and programming. Clothing brings out the manual field."
