Spain's footwear exports increased 12.16% year-on-year in the first half of 2011

According to the “Spanish Footwear Federation” report, in the first half of 2011, Western footwear exports totaled 55 million pairs, an increase of 12.16% over the same period of 2010, and the total value was 875 million euros, a year-on-year increase of 13.16%. 80% of Western footwear exports are concentrated in EU countries, of which Italy increased by 17.69%, the United Kingdom by 15.22%, France by 8.79%, Germany by 8.31%, and Portugal by 5.16%.
